Diego Aparicio
Diego Aparicio is a visual storyteller focused on digital and social media. He was selected to be a Kaiser Family Foundation health reporter at El Diario/La Prensa in New York City. Before, he was breaking soccer news for The Dallas Morning News and its Spanish daily, Al Dia, where he interviewed and wrote about the best soccer athletes in the U.S. and Mexico. He was also a Dallas Mavericks beat writer for Al Dia. He’s covered FIFA World Cup qualifiers, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Major League Soccer, NBA, NFL, the Mexican professional soccer league, SuperLiga, InterLiga, Dallas Cup, Texas AA baseball, NCAA soccer and boxing. In 2004, he was a founding member of a chain of four Spanish language dailies launched in Central and South Texas with an editorial staff of over 60 journalists from 12 countries.
