Jose L. Leyva

Jose L. Leyva is currently completing a dual masters degree in Journalism concentrating in digital media and in International Affairs at The School for International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. Prior to entering Columbia, Jose L. Leyva worked four years for the print media group REFORMA, in Mexico. The last position he held at REFORMA was assistant editor in the Metropolitan Section. He was in charge of the team covering local politics and elections. In the future, Jose expects to use his multimedia and journalistic skills to document human right violations in Latin America.
