Caroline Shin

Caroline Shin is a multimedia journalist with a passion for foreign cultures, languages and food.

She graduated with a master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brown University. She has written for CNN.com during her internship with Anderson Cooper 360. And in school, she has reported on a variety of subjects including: a Philippine domestic abuse victim, the Japanization of the American diet and homosexuality in the hip hop industry.

Caroline is a native New Yorker who grew up in Queens, lived in Argentina and traveled through five continents. She finds Brazil most fascinating and hopes to uncover stories there as it evolves into a global powerhouse. You can see more of her work at www.carolineshin.com.
